I am not a voracious reader these days.
Partly because, when I find a good book I like, I HAVE to read it, preferably all in one or two days and everything else can just wait.
(Cue laundry piles magically multiplying overnight and all the dishes in the neighborhood congregating in my sink. I may love the book, but my house becomes a vengeful mess magnet.)
Anyway, all that’s to say…I have recently read a most lovely, soul-delighting book, and I can’t help but want everyone else to get to read it too. It’s so terribly politically incorrect and so heart wrenchingly beautiful. It has to count as art, right?
But in case it’s a little overstepping my blog’s scope, I’ll spare you more on the topic here.
For a longer actual review…go thither to my husband’s more bookish blog where he put up my review➡️➡️Here
Or, just take my (shorter) word for it and find it and read it and enjoy it (if deep, thoughtful novels that make your heart thrill for love of Jesus is your thing.)
